Free dental camp held, humanitarian aid extended

To help the people affected by the ongoing violence in the State, Aesthetic Dental Clinic today organised a Free Dental Camp at the relief camp opened in Akampat Ideal Girls College in Imphal East district.
A team led by Dr Amakcham Nita conducted dental checkup of the displaced people who are taking refuge at the relief camp and provided medicine at free of cost.
Moreover, in the face of the crisis prevailing in Manipur, Beltola Manipuri Welfare Organisation from Bakrapara, Guwahati, Assam has come in aid of many taking shelter in relief camps set up across the State.
A team of the organisation led by its advisor Maisnam Kunjabihari, vice president Leishangbam Rajkeshwar and secretary S Surjaboron today visited the relief camps set up in Wangoo Tera Nupa Marup, Wangoo Naodakhong, Terakhongshangbi Salai Kanba Lup and Ithai Khunou and interacted with the inmates of the relief camps.
The team handed over a monetary assistance of Rs 20,000 to the relief camps to help the displaced people and alleviate their problems caused by the prevailing tense situation.
The team also visited the relief camps set up in Senjam Chirang Youth Club and Khurkhul Upper Primary School, Khurkhul Awang Leikai and provided monetary donations.
As per Beltola Manipuri Welfare Organisation, the assistance was provided with funds raised through crowdfunding from generous Meitei residents of Beltola, Guwahati.
The team of the organisation came to Imphal on August 4 last.
