Many attend IEC campaigns, avail scheme benefits

On the fifth day of the Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) campaign, Dharti Aaba Janbhagidari Abhiyan (DAJGA) and PM JANMAN saturation camp was organised at Kalinamei community hall in Lairouching sub-division of Senapati district on Friday.
Speakers highlighted various government schemes, financial assistance, and eligibility criteria, to around 400 attendees from 13 villages.
Along with setting up 20 stalls at the camp, welfare benefits, including Widow Pension Cards, CMST Disable Cards, and Manipur Old Age Pension Cards were distributed to the eligible denizens while tree saplings, high-yield seeds, micronutrients, and application forms were handed out to deserving individuals.

Beneficiaries also shared testimonies on accessing PMAY-G, MGNREGS, ration cards, Ujjwala LPG connections, and other schemes.
Alongside block-level IEC campaigns, a mobile van is disseminating information in remote villages, broadcasting pre-recorded messages in Poula, Maram, Mao, Thangal, and Zeliangrong languages.
The van, flagged off on June 18, ensures linguistic accessibility for tribal communities.
PHERZAWL: The ongoing Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DAJGUA) campaign reached another milestone in Pherzawl district on Friday, as the district administration extended its outreach to the remote villages of Kangreng and Lungthulien.
An IEC drive was also held to raise awareness about various government welfare schemes and services.
KAMJONG: The district administration on Friday continued its awareness and benefit saturation campaign under the PM-DAJGUA at Kamjong headquarters for the residents of Kasom Khullen and Chassad, where speakers highlighted the importance and benefits of the various services available under the DAJGUA scheme.
During the day's PM-DAJGUA IEC campaign, multiple services were delivered to beneficiaries, including 31 PM Ujjwala Yojana connections, 5 Ayushman Bharat cards, 8 IGNOAPS/Widow/Divyang pensions, 32 PM Vishwakarma registrations, 18 PM Matru Vandana Yojana enrolments, 9 tribe certificates, 8 Mission Indradhanush vaccinations, 12 ration cards, 9 domicile certificates, 13 MGNREGA registrations, and 30 Poshan Abhiyan beneficiaries.
A total of 250 individuals attended the campaign.

TENGNOUPAL: As part of the nationwide flagship campaign "Dharti Aaba Janbhagidari Abhiyan (DAJGUA)", a one-day awareness and benefit saturation camp was successfully organised on Friday at the Khangshim village community hall in Machi sub-division of Tengnoupal district.
In their addresses, district and block level officials encouraged the villagers to avail benefits and services being provided through the convergence of multiple government schemes under this campaign.
They also emphasised the government's commitment to inclusive, last-mile service delivery.
The IEC campaign, an initiative of the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, aims to saturate individual entitlements and create awareness among Scheduled Tribe (ST) populations across the country's tribal-dominated regions.
The camps conducted in the tribal-dominated four hill districts on Friday facilitated on-the-spot delivery of multiple entitlements and services, including ration cards and entitlement verification, Health Insurance (PM-JAY) card issuance and basic check-ups, caste and domicile certificates, farmer registration under PM-KISAN along with Kisan Credit Cards, bank account opening, enrolment under social security pensions (Old Age, Widow, Divyang), financial literacy assistance, Aadhaar enrolment and updating, new LPG connections, Ayush-man Bharat cards, tribe and domicile certificates, livelihood schemes (MGNREGA, PM Vishwakarma, Mudra loans), women and child welfare programmes (PM-MVY, ICDS, immunisation), and NCD screenings.
