Kakching adopts resolution to attend Peoples' Convention

Kakching, April 26 2025: Kakching denizens have adopted a resolution to attend the "Manipur People's Convention" to be held on May 3 .

The resolution was adopted during a public meeting organised by Coordinating Committee on Manipur Integrity (COCOMI) Kakching District Branch at Ima Panthoibi Laibung, Pangantabi on Saturday.

The meeting was attended by COCOMI co-convenor Y Surjit, Mobilisation Committee convenor YK Dhiren, COCOMI Kakching District Branch chairman Thounaojam Nando, COCOMI Kakching District Branch Women Wing convenor Khumukcham Memma, Pangantabi village elder Khundrakpam Chaoba, COCOMI Consultative Committee member advocate L Jadumani and COCOMI general administration Th Shyamchand and others.

Speaking on the occasion, COCOMI Student's Wing member Mayengbam Somorjit Meitei explained the reason and importance of holding the "People's Convention".

Y Surjit and YK Dhiren also spoke on why the central government had failed bring a solution to the conflict and suppressing the real reason and the government's hidden agenda on the matter.
