Imphal, April 24 2026:
The proscribed PREPAK has called upon all the people of Kangleipak to raise a strong and collective voice against the brutal acts of repression committed by Indian armed forces in the State.
PREPAK will be observing 'Indian Colonialism Resist Day' on April 26, 2026 in remembrance of the Patsoi-Langjing incident and other acts of massacres, atrocities, rapes and involuntary disappearances committed by Indian armed forces, said a statement issued by the outfit's Charge-De-Affairs, Publicity and Propaganda Leibaak Ngaakpa Luwang.
The 13th 'Indian Colonialism Resist Day' will be observed at the outfit's Chqs, GHqs, THqs, transit camps, training centres and other offices.
It said that the political leaders of Kangleipak are unable to work with a conviction for the cause of Kangleipak because of cultural influence and political subjugation by India.
As long as Kangleipak remains under Indian occupation, it will be very hard to see the rise of leaders who genuinely care for Kangleipak.
If Kangleipak must be saved, it must be liberated from Indian occupation and this can be achieved only when all the people are united, the outfit said.
The sustained aggression launched by Kuki militants under SoO agreement since may 3, 2023 against Meiteis and Tangkhuls is a machination of the Government of India, it alleged.
To ensure smooth operation of the Kaladan Multimodal Transit Transport Project (KMTTP) which is being developed with huge investment in Chin State of Myanmar, the Government of India has formed a strategic alliance with the armed groups operating in Chin State.
In addition, the Government of India has been working to crush the revolutionary organisations of WESEA with the help of PDF, KNA(B) and Kuki armed groups operating in Manipur and Mizoram.
Under this strategy, Chin-Kuki-Zo people have been attacking and killing indigenous people including women and children.
The murder of two sleeping children at Tronglaobi on April 7, the killing of two Tangkhul civilians at TM Kasom, and murder of six women and children after they were abducted from Jakuradhor, Jiribam were all acts of terrorism.
The outfit alleged that all such acts of terrorism perpetrated by Kuki armed groups are supported by the Government in total defiance of international law.
It said that the Government of India is implementing a new strategy of using proxy forces and mercenaries to suppress the National liberation movements of WESEA.
The outfit asserted that the use of armed Kukis by the Government of India as its mercenaries violates the International Convention against the Recruitment, use, financing and Training of Mercenaries (1989).Saying that India will abandon the Chin-Kuki-Zo people once it achieves its objectives, the outfit asked the Chin-Kuki-Zo people to think on how they will live together with indigenous people in the India-Myanmar border region after they are abandoned by India.
It remarked that the Government of India cannot see Meiteis and Tangkhuls as rightful citizens of India.
That is why, the Government of India is least concerned when innocent civilians are killed.
It's time for the present generation to think for the future generations and take necessary action collectively, otherwise, all the indigenous people of Kangleipak will disappear from the surface of the planet, the outfit said.
All the indigenous communities need to work together on the principle of mutual respect, communal harmony and co-existence.
If the communities limit their outlook and activities to their own respective communities, there is no future for any of the indigenous communities, PREPAK asserted.
It called upon all the indigenous people to unite and fight collectively for a free and united Manipur.
It alleged that the killing of three civilians in indiscriminate firing by CRPF upon civilians protesting the gruesome murder of two toddlers at Tronglaobi was a continuation of India's acts of repression and terrorism which have been going on for quite a long time in Manipur.
