N Praveen said that the HSE 2025 was held across 112 exam centres but COHSEM and the State Government faced a lot of difficulties because of the prevailing law and order situation in the State.
Holding the exam was a huge exercise, he said.
He said that successful students can apply for their preferred courses as results of the exam which ended on March 6 have been declared well in time.
Some unwanted incidents took place this year.
In order to avoid such unwanted incidents in future examinations, the Government has constituted a committee to investigate the incidents and submit a foolproof recommendation, Praveen said.
He added that the committee is expected to submit its report shortly.
Enlighten Knowledge or EK Higher Secondary School once again stole the limelight in Arts stream with eight of its students making it to the top 10 merit list including first, second and third positions.
