Imphal, April 24 2025:
The Rastrahit Sarvopari Sangathan (RSS) has asserted that the Government must carry out surgical strikes against Kukis.
Speaking to media persons at Manipur Press Club here today, RSS National president Sohan Giri stated that the acts of terrorism unleashed by Kukis since May 3, 2023 are driven by an evil intention to annihilate Meiteis.
Terrorism has no race, ethnicity or colour and no one is above law, he stated.
Terrorists do not differentiate between communities or religions and they massacred 28 people at Pahalgam, Kashmir a few days back, he said.

In Manipur, terrorists who intruded into India from a foreign country have killed a large number of innocent people during the last two years and more than 60,000 people have been rendered homeless, Sohan Giri said.
Everyone knows who started the Manipur violence.
It was the Kuki who started the violence with a premeditated plan whereas the Meiteis took up arms in self-defence, the RSS president asserted.
Had the Government of India carried out surgical strikes in time against those people who planned and started the Manipur violence, the situation would not have exacerbated to such an extent, he said.
Rastrahit Sarvopari Sangathan always stands firm against all acts of terrorism carried out in any part of India and it has been putting pressure on the Government to take up strong deterrents, he said.
He went on to assert that the Government of India is fully capable of taking decisive actions against all acts of terrorism.
Even though Indian armed forces are one of the strongest in the world, tens of thousands of innocent Meitei families fled their homes with just the clothes they were wearing when they were attacked by armed Kukis in Manipur.
Now the devastated and displaced families have been living a very hard life in relief camps, Sohan Giri said.
Highlighting how the illegal Kuki immigrants are responsible for the Manipur crisis, a memorandum was submitted to Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla in person today, he said.
Through the memorandum, the RSS urged for implementation of National Register of Citizens (NRC), resettlement of IDPs at their native villages and homes with foolproof security, initiation of strong actions against all terrorists and acts of terrorism.
The Government of India's failure to fulfil its assurance to open National Highways has caused untold economic hardship to the Meiteis.
The Meiteis are still denied access to National Highways.
If Meiteis have to go outside Manipur for studies, medical treatment or whatever reason, they must travel by air, he noted.
Heeding the call of the Governor, Meiteis have surrendered arms which were looted from Government armouries for self defence but the Kukis are still refusing to surrender their arms maintaining that they would not lay down arms until and unless their demand for Separate Administration is fulfilled, Sohan Giri said.
He asserted that the Government ought to take serious note of such belligerent attitude of Kukis.
The Government must show that no one is above the law, he added.
