Imphal, December 18: Joining the condemnation outcry against the December 16 bomb blast at Pourabi which claimed eight lives including one who succumbed today, the All Manipur Senior Citizens' Welfare Association has strongly condemned the blast.

The Association also appealed to all concerned to refrain from such disastrous activities in future.

The Meetei Erol Eyek Loinasillol Apunba Lup (MEELAL) Kangleipak has also strongly condemned the blast.

It also condoled the death of its activist Soibam Boby (30) s/o Bolo of Keibi Mayai Leikai in the blast.

MEELAL further appealed to all concerned not to repeat such activities.

Others who have voiced strong condemnation against the blast and appealed to refrain from such brutal acts include the Phaknung Awang Likai Youths' Development Association, All Manipur Youth Protection Committee (AMYPCO), Manipur Chemists and Druggists Association and the Women Action for Development.

The Singjamei to Lilong United Clubs' Organisation (SLUCO), Maichou Ningshing Lup Khurai and the Women Association for Civic Action Kangleipak (WACAK) have also come out strongly against the blast.
