24th Senior State Archery Championship : 27 individuals, 6 teams make podium finish

In all 27 archers, competing in different categories made it to the podium finish while six teams did the same on the second day of the 24th Senior State Archery Championship, 2013 today at Khuman Lampak Sports Complex.
The championship will wind up on December 3 .
In the 70 metre Recurve Women category, M Rupan of NSA with a total score of 285 topped the list followed by Th Surmala of SAI with 277 points and Y Roshini of SAI with 246 points.
SAI bagged two more spots in the 60 m Recurve Women category with Th Surmala of SAI bagging the top spot with 305 points followed by M Rupan of NSA with 289 and Y Roshini of SAI with 283 .

The dominance of SAI in the men's section continued with Y Dinakumar of SAI coming out on top with 283 points in 90 m Recurve event followed by O Ashok of NSA with 278 and L Ramananda of SAi with 272 .
The same script followed in the 70 metre Recurve for Men with Y Dinakumar of SAI bagging the top position with 320 point, followed by Deonik A Marak of NSA with 317 points and G Chuichui of SAI with 306 points.
In the 50 m Compound Women competition, Parvati Nair of YAC bagged the top spot with 317 followed by Maringmei Akam of SAI with 312 points and A Menaka of VAA with 309 points.
In the 50 M Compound Men, M Bikram of UAC bagged the top spot with 336 followed by Sh Ramakanta of SAI with 335 and L Krishnakanta of ESU with 331 .
In the Individual Indian Round Women P Sonia of YAC bagged the first spot with a score of 127, followed by K Manavidya of MPSC with 121 and Jennifer of YAC with 102 points.
ARAC bagged to the two top spots in the Individual Indian Round Men, with M Sunder of ARAC coming out tops with 138 points, followed by H Bijendranath of ARAC with 135 points and Th Langamba SICA of 103 .
YAC bagged the first position in the Indian Round Team Women, YAC (P Sonia, S Nirmala, S Jenifer, B Premita) with 196 points followed by VAA (K Pravahini, M Sanjita Devi, S Robita and Sanai Thourii) with 165 points and NSA (K Pushapabati, Ph Dolly and N Sushi) with 174 rounds.
The first two teams fought it out for the Gold and Silver while the third team was in the fray for the Bronze medal, after the earlier rounds.
In the Indian Round Team Men competition, ARAC (H Bijendranath, M Sunder, Ch Harichandra and P Heroba ) bagged the gold with 213 points while YAC ( N Lokeshore SIngh, Kh Bidyananda Singh, O Roshan, M Bikramjit) bagged the silver with 203 points.
In the play off for the Bronze medal, MPSC (M Nanao, L Saphaba, N Santosh and Y Niranjan) came out tops with 214 points.
