The 9th league match of the 6th Thongju Cup 2018 being organised by Thongju Kendra United Clubs' Association at S WC Ground, Khongman saw MMC decimate DC by 13-0 goals in a very one sided match.
The other three matches of the day ended in draws.
Ronaldo of MMC produced a fine performance today scoring 6 goals alone to help his team notch up an emphatic 13-0 victory against DC.
MCC started the game with a bang as Ronaldo hit the opener in the 4th, 9th and 12th minute and put ahead his team with a 3-0 lead.
His compatriots, A Naoba (13', 19'), A Rinku (14') and A Chitaranjan (16') then took their turns to wrap up the first half with a overwhelming 7-0 lead.
The onslaught continued in the second half as well and it was Ronaldo who sprang up to take on the scoring opportunities and also succeeded in completing his double hattrick through goals coming from his feet in the 26th, 29th and the 40th minute and made it 10-0.N Tonyson also pumped in two goals (34', 47') in this exciting match while Kh Backham contributed a single in the 42nd minute before the game ended 13-0.The second match was rather entertaining as H Bony of WYLCO scored a last gasp goal during the additional time of the second half and denied RESO to take home the match.
RESO was close to win the game 1-0 as M Nurjit was able to broke the deadlock lately in the last minute of the game (60th) after spending a barren first half but to their dismal H Bony made a quick run during the added time and hit the equaliser to settle the game in a 1-1 draw.
In the third match of the day, YWC played out a 3-3 draw with NYTHC.
NYTHC enjoyed a 2-0 lead in the first half but YWC made a huge return to finish the game in a 3-3 draw.

S Benjit struck the opener in the 25 th minute after many unsuccessful attempts from both teams in the earlier part to give Oriental Club a 1-0 lead in the first half but was equalised in the 27th minute by L Roshan.
Oriental Club were able to take a 2-1 lead when T Gopal fired in a power-packed shot past the custodian of KSC.
Their dreams of earning full points became nightmare when Kh Samananda of KSC took a nice shot to level the score at 2-2 in the 40th minute before the game ended with the same scoreline.
