SSU blanks KSC in Manipur State League

In a complete whitewash, Kuki Sporting Club (KSC) was blanked with four goals by Southern Sporting Union (SSU), Singjamei in today's match of the ongoing 7th Manipur State League (MSL) organised by the All Manipur Football Association at Mapal Kangjeibung, Imphal.
In the early part of the match, KSC players showed some resistance but they failed to defend themselves against the surprise goal of SSU which was scored by Keithellakpam Kiran in the 30th minute.
Unable to open their goal account, KSC kept their defensive line intact thereby preventing further attacks.
As a result the first half ended 1-0 in favour of SSU.
In the second half, SSU changed their tactics and mounted attacks on KSC in an attempt to dampen the spirit of their rival.
Kiran who opened the goal account of SSU soon find another chance in the 53rd minute and successfully scored his second goal and extended the lead to 2-0 .
The second goal of Kiran took KSC players by surprise.
Before they could recover from the shock, Lamabam Gogocha and Loitongbam Somen of SSU scored one goal each in just 10 minutes and extended the lead to 4-0.Gogocha scored the third goal of SSU in the 56th minute while the fourth goal was scored in the 63rd minute by Somen.
On the other hand, spirited KSC did not give up as they recovered from the shock and formed a strong defensive line.
But SSU were too strong for them to get chances to get behind their defense line and score goals.
