Women's and Junior Boys' State Level Polo : CHPC cruise into women's final as Arvind PC-A and B reach U-16 boys' semis

Chingkh-eihunba Polo Club (CHPC) blanked Thangmeiband Polo Club (THPC) 6-0 to book a place in the final of the 17th Women State Level Polo Tournament 2021-22 being organised by the All Manipur Polo Association (AMPA) at Iroishemba Kangjeibung.
Neelu RK was at her best today as she fired home three goals in CHPC's huge semi-final victory while Th Tanna (2) and I Sangita (1) scored the other three.
It was indeed a one sided affair as I Sangita scored the opener in the 5th minute before Neelu RK scored another the next minute to make it 2-0 at the end of the first chukker.

Th Tanna then slotted a goal each in the second and the third chukker to make it 4-0 before Neelu RK rose again in the final chukker to chip in two more goals and completed her treble against the hapless THPC. CHPC will face either Samadon Ayangba PC or Linthoinganbi Kangjei Lup in the final.
Meanwhile, in the quarter final matches of the 5th Junior Boys (U-16) State Level Polo Tournament held simultaneously in the same venue, Arvind Polo Club-A and Arvind Polo Club B emerged victorious to move into the semi-finals.
In the category's first match of the day, Th Nongpoknganba hammered home five goals to fire Arvind Polo Club-A 10-1 past the Ibudhou Marjing Polo Team (IMPT) .
Arvind PC-A got off to a brilliant start taking a 4-1 first chukker lead as Nongpoknganba scored 3 of his five goals back to back within three minutes and Kh Bikash added once in the last minute of the chukker after Kh Suraj scored the only goal for IMPT in the fourth minute.
Nongpoknganba scored his fourth goal in the second chukker before Kh Bikash scored twice to complete his treble to make it 7-1 till halfway.
Nongpoknganba then completed his haul of five goals in the last minute of the third chukker after his compatriot A Kishan opened his account in the third minute of the third chukker.
Kishan scored another in the last chukker to complete the 10-1 rout of IMPT.
Arvind PC-A will now meet Thoubal PC in the first semi-final match.
Meanwhile in the other match, Arvind PC-B romped 5-0 past New Vision Polo to set up a semi-final date with Lingthoinganbi Kangjei Lup.
Both teams drew blank in the first chukker but Calvin struck twice in the second chukker to make it 2-0 till halfway.
The third chukker also went lull before the game came alive in the fourth chukker as Kunal Bhatia, Google and M Tomthin chipped in a goal apiece to help Arvind PC-B complete 5-0 demolition of New Vision Polo.
