ABVP holds Tiranga Rally

Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), Imphal East unit organised a Tiranga Rally to commemorate the 75th year of India's independence by holding a 75-metre long tricolour flag.
The rally participated by around 150 students of different schools and universities was flagged off from CC Higher Secondary School and culminated at the western gate of Kangla.
According to ABVP state joint secretary Kshetrimayum Sangita, student wing of Bharatiya Janata Party is conducting Tiranga rally across the country in connection with 75th year of India's independence and such rallies were held in four districts of the state on Sunday.
She also said that Tiranga rally is being organised in connection with the observance of 125th birth anniversary of freedom fighter Netaji Subash Chandra Bose as well .
