N Rajningthou Memorial Trophy : PTCC beat CYCLONE by 3 wickets, RCA ease to second win

PTCC, Patsoi beat CYCLONE, Thangmeiband by 3 wickets for their first win in Group C competition of the ongoing 3rd MNCA U-16 Boys Naorem Rajningthou Memorial Trophy as RCA, Lilong beat AKSDO, Khangabok by 43 runs for the second straight win.
CYCLONE, who have posted a 5 wicket win against SHADOW, in an all Thangmeiband clash, won the toss here at YCWO ground at Heinoupok today and chose to bat first.
They could, however, managed to set a lowly target of 107 runs losing 8 wickets in their allotted 30 overs as PTCC bowlers worked hard to maintain a commendable economy.
Preethson with an unbeaten 28 runs off 37 balls, was the highest run getter for CYCLONE in their innings as Thomson (19) and Robinson (13) followed suit.
Karnajit was pick of the PTCC bowlers as he clinched 3 wickets for 25 runs in 6 overs while Nikhil, Hiras and Anao fetched a wicket each.
PTCC then posted a winning total of 110 runs for 7 within 22 overs (21.1) riding on Gunggung's unbeaten 29 after Hiras and Nikhil added identical fifteen and Tanisq scored 11 .
Abinash of CYCLONE too enjoyed a three wicket haul in a losing cause as his compatriots, Ronal and Suraj finished with two wickets each.
Elsewhere at ABA ground in Kshetrigao, RCA cruised to a 43 run victory courtesy Naees Hussain's all round performance.
RCA tallied 127 runs for 8 wickets in 30 overs thanks to Naesh Hussain (24), Zamir Khan (16), Md Aqeel (32) and Imtiyas Khan (13) in their innings which saw Ch Mocha of AKSDO, Khangabok fetched three wickets for 24 runs and his companions, S Lanchenba and S Kaiku bagged two wickets each.
Naees Hussain then wreaked havoc across the batting line up of AKSDO by snatching a record seven wickets for 9 runs in 5.4 overs which also contained a maiden over.
Md Aqeel also managed two wickets to help RCA bundle out AKDSO for 84 runs in 22.4 overs.
Naeesh Hussain was eventually adjudged man of the match.
