5th SCK 7-a-side Football Tourney : HEYDA trounce LCHYC

Of the five matches played in the 5th SCK 7-a-side Football Tournament today, three ended in big wins, one was a closely fought match while in another match one team got a walk over as the opposing team failed to team to turn up.
In first match of the day (Group B), HEYDA Hiyangthang faced little challenge in trouncing LCHYC, Langthabal by a margin of 4 goals to one coming back from a goal down.
The team from Langthabal shot into the lead as early as the 5th minute of the match, when Lansingam netted the ball, following a defensive lapse.
Stung by the early reversal, HEYDA Hiyangthang went all out on the offensive, launching a series of attack after taking control of
the midfield.
The flood gates opened in the 14th minute when Binoy was perfectly well placed to let go a rasping shot that went home.
The attack continued and though the defence line of LYC held firm, they ultimately caved in against the sustained attack with the second goal coming in the 30th minute through Enaobi.
The third goal came in the 37th minute when Pellymore found the net and Robin scored in the 45th minute to complete the rout.
In the second match of the day (Group D), ESO Bamdiar got a walk over as FC Leirenjam failed to turn up.
The third match (Group C) between THELS, Yaiskul and KYC Keinou went the same way as the first match, with the team from Keinou brushing aside the challenge of THELS by a margin of 4 goals to one.
Nabachandra of KYC did the star turn pumping in all the four goal to single handedly take the match away from the hands of THELS Yaiskul.
The four goal blitzkrieg came in the 15th, 16th, 22nd, and 24th minute.
For THELS, Yaiskul the consolation goal came in the 25th minute through Deepak.
The fourth match between FC Laningthou and Naga Boys' Namdulong was a close affair with the former winning by a margin of 3 goals to 2 .
Naga Boys went into the lead in the 10th minute when Gispin scored but FC Lainingthou bounced back strongly to restore parity in the 11th minute.
Gispin was at it again when he scored in the 32nd minute to help his team retain the lead, but Rajesh came into his own to score two goals in the 38th and 41st minute.
In the last match of the day (Group E), YWC Malom thrashed PMC Uchekon by a margin of 5 goals to nil with Hemchandra scoring four and Bipin one.
