Imphal, May 27:
A joint meeting of the Naga People's Organisation (NPO) and the Senapati District Students' Association (SDSA) has decided to take up immediate steps to affect the transfer of Deputy Commissioner of Senapati district allegedly in the interest of the general public.
SDSA accused DC Nidhi Kesarwani of creating confrontation between her security and the public by deploying more security in her office besides remaining totally non-cooperative to the people.
The joint meeting also resolved to check irregularities to ensure accountability of the PDS in Senapati district.
Meanwhile, NPO has asked DSO RK Binoy to surrender at its office within this month failing which stringent actions will be initiated against the DSO.
