Kangkhui cave to become protected site

Imphal, February 26 2011:
The state government has discussed to make the Kangkhui Cave in Ukhrul district of Manipur a 'Protected Site' under the Historical Monument and Archaelogical Sites and Remains Act 1976, Section 4.The state government invites any objections regarding the decision of the government within two months.
Further details regarding the matter may be collected from the Additional Secretary (Arts and Culture), T Ranjit.
