Thoubal, January 16 2021:
The Lamding Educated Welfare Association (LEWA), in a statement issued yesterday, appealed to the State Government to dismiss the 4 police personnel arrested in connection with the robbery of jewellery and cash worth Rs 8 lakh from some people who were coming to Imphal Airport.
LEWA expressed its anguish and disappointment over the said crime committed by police personnel posted at the Narcotics and Affairs of Border (NAB) police station and added that the morally flawed police personnel should be dismissed from service at NAB.
