Imphal, November 22 2015:
Minorities Development Forum, Manipur has supported the demand for a separate Directorate for minorities.
People of minority communities are facing lots of inconvenience as they are unable to meet the Chief Minister who also holds the MOBC portfolio at the time of need, said a statement.
It added that most of the minority people do not get the benefits provided by the Government under MOBC.
Students' scholarships for the academic session 2012-13 are yet to be sanctioned, the statement added.
Considering the conveniences faced by the minority people, the Chief Minister must look into their grievances at the earliest, the statement added.
