Myanmar delegates warmly welcomed

Moreh, November 22 2015:
U Khing Muang, MLA, Sagaing Region and different teams of Myanmar participating in the Manipur Sangai Festival 2015 were welcomed by the Indo-Myanmar Friendship Chamber of Commerce, Moreh today.
A team of 28 Meitei delegates from Mandalay first arrived at Moreh at around 12 noon.
Another team of 27 delegates led by U Khing Muang, MLA, Sagaing Region arrived at Moreh at 2 pm.
Both the teams were heartily welcomed by Seiboi Haokip, secretary, Indo-Myanmar Friendship Chamber of Commerce, Moreh at the custom office of Moreh.
U Hla Maung, chairman, Myanmar Indian Border Trade Chamber of Commerce, Tamu and U Teko, general secretary, Myanmar Indian Border Trade Chamber of Commerce, Tamu were also part of the visiting team.

Meitei delegates from Mandalay were welcomed by AMUCO at Moreh Trade Centre.
Womenfolk of Tali road, Moreh Ward No 6 also presented gifts to the delegates.
The Meitei delegates said that their wish to visit Manipur at least once in their lifetime have come true.
They also said that the team will visit and offer prayer at Shree Govindajee Temple.
Ph Deban Sharma, vice president, AMUCO expressed dissatisfaction over the State Government's alleged negligence to welcome the delegates from Myanmar.
To welcome the delegates, a social service was also organised along Thoubal Kiyam Tangjeng-Thoubal Wangbal road by Thoubal Municipal Council Ward No 8 Councillor S Ranbir, Thoubal fire services and former Assistant Director of SAI K Mikhel.
The team from Myanmar was escorted from Moreh to Imphal by vice president of AMUCO, Ph Deban later in the evening where they were accorded a warm welcome.
AMUCO has appealed to the people to welcome all the foreign dignitaries during the Sangai Festival.
