CCpur, November 22 2015:
Two men said to be in their mid-thirties were recovered dead today in unrelated incidents; one early in the day and the other late in the evening.
While the family of the first corpse felt no need to conduct a post-mortem and claimed the body, the second corpse is yet to be claimed as the immediate family has not arrived at the mortuary by the time of filing this report.
Lifeless body of a man identified as George, 35 son of BA Thanga of Sielmat was found on the periphery of Lamka cemetery early today.
He was found bleeding on the nose but bore no other visible injuries.
As the deceased's father suspects no foul play, he claimed the body without conducting any post-mortem and the body was eventually buried later in the day at their village.
Another man identified as Ngamkhogin, 32 husband of Mary Hatneilhing of Phaimuol village, Singngat sub-division was reportedly brought-dead to the casualty ward of the district hospital around 3 pm today by some men whose identities are not known.
It is said that the men who had brought him to the hospital in an auto-rickshaw soon left after confirming that he was dead.
Some distant relatives identified the body.
As the immediate family is yet to arrive from Phaimuol village, it is unclear if they will claim the body without conducting any post-mortem as was in the former case or not.
