Girl saved from snake bite

Imphal, May 17 2011:
A five-year old girl, Asha daughter of Moirangthem Nimai Singh of Thamnapokpi village of Bishnupur district, was saved from snake bite complications by Logtak Brigade of Red Shield Division.
She was brought to the Advance Dressing Station of Logtak Brigade of Red Shield Division allegedly with multiple snake bites while working in the field yesterday around 2 pm.
She was referred to the Advance Dressing Station of Logtak Brigade from Community Health Center, Moirang where emergency medicines are not available.
She was examined, investigated and given Anti Snake Venom Injection and other life saving medicines at the Advance Dressing Station and once again referred to District Hospital, Bishnupur for observation, treatment and investigations, a PIB (DW) statement said.
