Expressing strong dissatisfaction over the alleged lack of progress in the construction of sports complex at Karong, the Senapati District Students' Association (SDSA) warned of taking up its own course of action if the project work is not resumed by the first week of March.
In a statement, SDSA general secretary, Kaikho Hopeson Mao lamented that the work for the project has been stalled and whatever structures come up lack quality.
The students' body, in an emergency meeting on January 8, strongly noted the Government's apathy and lack of commitment and decided to take up its own course of action unless the work is resumed by the first week of March, the SDSA statement cautioned.
