Imphal, July 16 2013:
Welcoming the initiative of NEC Don Bosco Project, DBS Information Centre, Museum (Shillong) in the documentation task of traditional, customary and cultural practices of the Maram tribe, the Maram Students' Union (MKS) has collaborated the project officials in the collection of various datas/artefacts from Maram ancestral villages of Maram Khullen and Willong Khullen.
According to a statement issued by MKS, the two-day intensive interview was done with Maram elders, led by titular king Sagangnamba and his council of GBs .
The interviews were recorded in monograph, auditory device and videotapes.
