The Food Security Bill approved by the President of India is just an ordinance which can be made valid for six months only and this is a policy of the Congress to woo the public with an eye on upcoming Parliamentary Elections in 2014, N Mangi, President, Manipur Loumi Lup has stated.
Speaking during a function held in commemoration of the agitation launched by Agriculture Workers against not fulfilling their demands at Manipur Press Club today, pointed that the issue of Food Security was first introduced by Communist Party.
But just to get the credit, the Congress has pushed for the ordinance without discussing the matter in the Parliament.
