Imphal, August 30:
Highlighting inconveniences faced by the general commuter of Manipur due to absence of Computerised Railway Reservation Counter in the State after the only counter was set fire on April 23 during the Meetei Mayek agitation, Manipur Peace and Integrity (MAPI) Council, Youth Front has drawn the attention of the State Govt for setting up a new Railway reservation counter.
Citing disadvantages of the public including students and sports persons who are compelled to book tickets through private counters at exorbitant rates, the council warned authority concerned to meet the demand at the earliest failing which the body would be constrained to launch various type of agitation.
