MSDS abolished
Source: The Sangai Express
Imphal, September 15 2013:
The Manipur Skill Development Society (MSDS) which used to sponsor and facilitate training of educated youngsters of the State in different vocations and professions outside the State has been abolished.
MSDS was set up in 2011 and it was abolished by a decision adopted at its general body meeting held in June this year as almost all its activities were similar with the skill development programmes taken up by Labour Department.
Nonetheless, MSDS would exist nominally under Planning Department until the last batch trainees currently undergoing training outside the State ends in October this year.
