ANTA resolves to protect land

Chandel, September 15 2013:
"The Anal people will protect and preserve their ancestral land, customs, cultures, traditions and identities at any cost", said Wng Victor Kohring, President of the Anal Naga Tangpi (ANTA) .
Talking to media persons today, Victor Kohring informed that various resolutions in this regard were adopted during a meeting of ANTA held on September 14 at Lambung Village in Chandel.
Accordingly, Anal people will stand for sacrament of reconciliation and live by the Christian virtue of forgive and forget and leaders of Anal and National workers will jointly organize crucial meeting after every two months, Kohring said.
Anal leaders will also attend a joint meeting of the Naga-Kuki to be held on September 16 at Japhou Village Community Hall without any reservation, Kohring added.
