With MEELAL activists threatening to target essential services from May 8 to intensify their protest against the State Govt's failure to fully implement Meetei Mayek in the State, the State Police Department has tod taken up all necessary security arrangements to meet the threat of the Mayek activists.
Talking to The Sangai Express today, DGP AK Parashar informed that the police personnel have been put on red alert and will deal firmly with any anyone who tries to target essential services.
