School vans to charge 50% fee

Imphal, September 21 2015:
Leaders of Joint Students Coordinating Committee (JSCC) and Student Wing of Joint Committee on Inner Line Permit System (JCILPS) had on August 16 and 1 met representatives of All Manipur School Student's Transporter Association (AMSSTA) and All Manipur Private School Welfare Association (AMPSWA) .
After discussion on the problem and difficulties faced by the school van owners, school owners and parents of the students due to the two-month long ILPS movement which was spearheaded by JCILPS, it was resolved to charge only one month's school van fee for the said two months.
JSCC on September 2 last announced the decision during a press meet, said a statement released by Secretary AMSSTA and appealed to all school van owners under AMSSTA to comply with the decision.
