Imphal, September 21 2015:
The 12 hours bandh called by the National Revolutionary Front of Manipur (NRFM) partially affected normal in the valley districts of the State today.
Even though attendance in Government offices was low on account of the bandh and most of the private establishments remained shut, Khwairamband market was not totally deserted.
Whereas inter-State and inter-district bus services were suspended, there was regular movement of passenger auto-rickshaws.
Flight service was not affected.
NRFM called the bandh in protest against forcing Maharaja Bodhachandra to sign to pre-drafted Manipur Merger Agreement at Shillong on September 21, 1949 .
