Moreh protests against CCpur killing, Govt Bills

Moreh, September 21 2015:
A massive protest rally was taken out in Moreh town under Chandel District on Monday against the killing of nine persons in Churachandpur and passing of 'anti-tribal Bills' by Manipur Assembly.
The peaceful rally organised by Kuki Women Union & Human Rights, Moreh kick-started at 11 am from Galngam Lengton Ground.
The participanst marched through Moreh PHC, Moreh Police Station, Custom Office, UBI Bank and Moreh market and ended at the office of the Hill Tribal Council, Moreh at 12:30 pm.

Over 1500 Kuki women wearing black clothes took part in the protest demonstration.
They held several placards during the rally.
Some of them read "Begin political talks with Kukis," "Withdraw anti-tribal Bills immediately," "Long live Zalengam," "We want political dialogue" and "We want Kuki state" .
