RPF denies hand

Imphal, October 19 2015:
The proscribed Revolutionary People's Front (RPF) on Monday denied hands on the looting of 14 tola of gold worth Rs 4.5 lakh and a two-wheeler scooter on Sunday from a jewellery shop "Opendro Jewelry Work" owned by one Khumanthem Okendro (37) located at RIMS Road.
In a statement issued by Chief, Department of Publicity, Revolutionary People's Front, Bangkim clarified that the outfit had never looted public properties since it is out of the party's principles.
RPF has not directed any work to anyone named James alias Boy, said the statement while terming the act an attempt to malign the image of the outfit.
