Frauds pulled up

Three alleged frauds who collected money from three individuals by falsely promising them jobs have been pulled up by volunteers of the United People's Front (UPF) from Kanglapat today.
The alleged fraudsters have been identified as Lairikyengbam Sanat (38) s/o L Thanil of Nagamapal Singjubung Leirak, Md Sabir Ahmad (30) s/o Suleiman of Hatta and Yambem Tejkumar (37) s/o Y Jitendra of Uripok Sorbon Thingel.
They were paraded before media persons at the Keishampat office of UPF this evening.
They collected Rs 50,000 each from two women belonging to Moirangkhom and Singjamei Leishangthem Leikai and another Rs 40,000 from a woman from Kakwa with the false of providing them jobs at Vijaya Bank.
The fraudsters called the three women to Kangla Park near Adarsh Laboratory today at around 11 am saying they would be given appointment orders.
Rather than giving any appointment order, they resorted to dilly-dallying tactics.
Subsequently, they were pulled up by UPF volunteers, said UP secretary general N Rupachandra.
Later all the three frauds were handed over to their respective families.
