Imphal, March 31:
As a precautionary step to check the spread of HIV in Manipur and as well as in the boder areas, a team consisting of twenty doctors would be leaving for Tamu shortly to conduct workshop and awareness programmes among the locals of the area, said sources.
Sources also informed that Myanmarese officials have also agreed to jointly take up preventive measures with MACS officials and help check the spread of HIV virus in the area.
