The Govt of Manipur envisaged to set up an industrial growth centre at Lamlai-Napet Palli which would have state-of-the-art infrastructure to attract the growth of industries in this area.
The infrastructure would comprise good roads, drainage system, uninterrupted power supply, water supply, effluent treatment plant, telecommunication facility, security and banking, etc.
The Growth centre would also have social infrastructure for the prospective entrepreneurs and workers willing to reside in that area.
It would be developed on the pattern of a complete industrial township.
Enough land would be earmarked for industries, for allotment on lease/rent basis to prospective industrialists who are desirous of setting up an industrial unit at the Centre.
In order to assess the viability of such a growth centre and to make the whole project successful, �Expression of Interest� is invited from the entrepreneurs/units/organisation/planning/ willing to set up an industrial unit within the proposed growth centre.
The format of submission of �Expression of Interest� is available with the IDP Section of the Directorate of Commerce and Industries, Manipur, Lamphelpat.
