Imphal, October 22:
The Indo-Burma Sugnu Road Driver Assn has appealed to the authority concerned to allow parking of buses plying on Indo-Burma Sugnu Road at Thoubal Parking, Keishampat.
In a press statement released today it appealed to allow parking on festivals like Ningol Chakkouba, Id, Diwali, Christmas etc keeping in view the hardships faced by people coming from far off places.
Remove hoardings: The Imphal Municipal Council is undertaking a clean up campaign to honour the visiting Prime Minister.
In a press notification issued by the IMC chairperson G Moirangjao, it notified to all concerned individuals/agents to remove all installations of hoarding/ display boards along the outer Kangla Moat on or before Oct 27.
