LISSAM on importance of library

Imphal, December 13 2013 :
Stating that there has been not much habit of reading books amongst the people of the State especially students even though Imphal Book Fair is being organised since 1991 with an aim to strengthen the library movement and provide opportunity for interaction amongst book readers, writers and publishers, Library and Information Science Students' Association Manipur (LISSAM) has stressed on the need for having modern library in schools and colleges so that students could improve their reading habit, knowledge, creativity and personality.
