Imphal, January 16 2015 :
Field survey conducted by a joint team of Indian officials and Myanmarese counterparts regarding the proposed road connectivity between Imphal and Mandalay has concluded.
The joint survey which started on January 11 came to an end yesterday.
The Indian team would submit a report to the Government of India.
Likewise, the Myanmar team would submit a report about the field survey to the Government of Myanmar.
The reports are expected to recommend the Governments of the two neighbouring countries to repair the road between Monewa and Kalemayo in Myanmar in addition to construction/reconstruction of all the necessary bridges.
