Training course for MHWs

In-service Male Health Worker Training courses for one year organized by Regional Health and Family Welfare Training Centre was inaugrated at conference hall of Directorate of Family Welfare Services, BT Road Imphal.
In the inaugural function Director Family Welfare Services, Manipur/State Mission Director DR O Ibomcha Singh, Dr K Rajo Singh (Addition Director, Family Welfare Service and Dr K Purnamala Devi (Prinicpal, Regional Health and Family Welfare Training Centre) graced the function as chief guest, guest of honour and president respectively.
According to a statement, the in-service training is designed specifically to enhance the skills and the capabilities of front line functionary of Health Department.
The main objective is to achieve "Health for All" throughout the State.
In connection with this function Dr O Ibomcha mentioned the essential of in-service training for updating knowledge of health and disease, so that the service provider can perform at their best leel.
Around 60 male health workers participated in the training programme.
