Moreh villagers resolve

Moreh, May 29 2014:
The Haolenphai Area Welfare Union has resolved to ban the use of chemicals for catching fishes in the village river.
This was decided during a meeting held today at the residence of Haolenphai village chief.
President of the Union, Yamkholun Touthang said the meeting also resolved to prohibit the use of Haolenphai village as a transit point for drug trafficking.
Fitting action would be taken against anyone who disregards the resolutions.
The union also resolved to urge the Govt to construct a water tank near a dam which is constructed just 9 kms away from the village in order to ease water problem.
