Enterpreneurship skill development training ends

The 14-day enterpreneurship skill development training programme of Chandel district in floriculture organised by the Garden Care in collaboration with SIRD concluded today at the SIRD conference hall, DC complex, Porompat.
Dr RK Nimai Singh, IAS, secretary to Governor and Commissioner (Arts and culture), Asem Ibotombi Singh, Retd Joint Director, Department of Agriculture and Brozendra Ningombam, Chief Editor, ISTV graced the function as chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively.
Gardening is in train these days.
Houses nowadays saves, if not large, a small portion af land area for gardening.
In his speech, RK Nimai Singh expressed that Chandel District should also develop a garden wherefrom regular income could be obtained by selling flower saplings.
The process, he adds would however require thorough knowledge of plant characters.
The 14 day training programme which concluded today was attended by 33 people, 18 of which were females.
