Bobby Murder Case: Sit-in protest staged, more agitations to follow

Demanding the arrest and punishment of the killers of Hidam Bobby whose body was found near Singa Temengkhong in Yairipok under Yairipok police station on July 1 last, the JAC formed in connection with the incident has announced that it would enforce an indefinite general strike beginning from July 6 morning, if the government fails to produce the killers by 5 July.
During a sit-in protest organised by the JAC at Yairipok Bazar today, members of Meira Paibi groups, clubs and organisations of Yairipok Bamol Leikai and Langdum Awang Leikai took active part.
Protesters held placards with slogans like 'Arrest killers of Hidam Bobby', 'Punish the killers of innocents', 'We will not accept dead body until the killers are booked', 'We want Justice', etc.

Participating in the protest, Bisheshwori, the wife of late Hidam Boby, stated that his late husband had no enmity with anybody.
He was an innocent person working hard to earn the livelihood of the family with two sons.
Decrying against the manner in which her husband was mercilessly murdered, she lamented how she can bring up the two small children without her husband.
She demanded the government to find out and punish the killers at the earliest possible.
On the other hand, JAC against the killing of Bobby has taken various resolutions during the sit in protest meeting.
Besides announcing the decision to call an indefinite general strike from July 6 morning, if the government fails to produce the killers by 5 July, the JAC also decided to press the government to provide a suitable job to the wife of the deceased Boby in order to enable her to bring up her two children.
