CWSN camp concludes

The five-day State level residential camp for 'inclusive education' (CWSN) organised by Sarva Siksha Abhiyan, Manipur concluded today at the Khuman Lampak Sports Complex Kangshang.
The valedictory programme was held with Deputy Commissioner (Imphal East) RK Dinesh Singh, Principal Secretary (Education) Dr J Suresh Babu and Joint CEO, Manipur N Praveen Singh as the chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively.
Speaking at the occasion, RK Dinesh strongly advocated organising similar camps throughout the state for such events would enable the youngsters to interact among themselves.
Through interaction and understanding of each other, positive changes towards bringing peace and unity could be achieved, he said.
Dr Suresh Babu, in his address highlighted that interaction and sharing of ideas among the young students are also important components of a holistic education and suggested that such programmes be organised at other areas of the State.
Jt CEO N Praveen, who also spoke to the participants opined that there is need for reaching out to children in remote corners of the hill areas for a better understanding of their problem with regard to education.
The dignitaries handed over token gifts to the young campers as a part of encouraging them to become responsible citizens of the future.
