With the arrest of an employee of Central Jail, Sajiwa who has been working for KCP (P) outfit it has been established that only two members of the outfit, out of the total 6, are still at large without any arms and ammunition, according to SP of Imphal West Clay Khongsai.
In a statement made available to the press today, the SP informed that an employee of the Central Sajiwa Jail who has been working for the outfit was arrested from Sajiwa jail junction at around 7 am following the disclosure made by another member identified as Irom Monika alias Ibemcha (c/w FIR No.99 (6) 05 LPL PS u/s 20 UA(P) Amendment Act).
The arrested person is identified as Ksh Prakash alias Paka (38) s/o late Ksh Ibopishak Singh of Kwakeithel Haorokchambi.
One demand letter of KCP (P) and six live ammunition of 9 mm and a pocket diary have also been reportedly recovered from his house.
Prakash has been instrumental in safe passage of secret messages/letters of KCP (P) in and out the jail.
Besides, his house has ben the rendezvous place for the cadres of the outfit wherein their sinister plans and designs were discussed and incriminating articles concealed , the SP informed.
During the course of interrogation, the SP further informed, Monika has further disclosed the KCP (P) do not have any arms and ammunition at present.
There are only six members including herself and Prakash.
Two important members, namely Nando alias MK Mangang and Rajesh Singh are presently in sajiwa Jail and operating from there.
