Vice president of MPCC and MLA T Mangibabu, who was also present at the occasion, attacked MPP by describing it as a political party which has no political ideology of its own.
It is precisely on this count that MPP has not been able to make its presence felt in Thanga and Wangkhem Assembly Constituencies.
Scoffing at the emerging trend of many who have money but no political experience wanting to contest in the election, Mangibabu questioned how such people are supposed to work for the welfare of the State and its people.
General Secretary of MPCC L Tilotama said that efforts are being made to uproot MPP from Langthabal A/C and sought the co-operation of the people in this regard.
MLA M Oken hailed Chief Minister O Ibobi Singhled SPF Government for reaching out developmental benefit to far flung areas of the State.
He also appealed to the people for continued support in strengthening the position of Chief Minister O Ibobi Singh and the Congress party for bringing about more development works.
