KKL comes out strongly against 'threat to CM'

The Kangleipak Kanba Lup, Manipur has said that the social media threat which targets Chief Minister N Biren Singh should not be taken lightly.
Addressing the media at Jupiter Yambem Centre at Paona Keithel today, KKL general secretary Ngamkheingakpa Luwang said that certain individuals uploading such a hate post against the person who has been striving to end drug menace and unite the people is very unfortunate.
Saying that KKL takes the post very seriously and considers it as a work of thoughtless people, he added that people of Manipur should unite to put an end to such social ills.
On the claim being raised by certain individuals that the size of Manipur was only about 700 sq kms at the time of the merger with India, Ngamkheingakpa Luwang asked why the Central Government is still silent on the matter.
He also asked if the Government of India has a hand in establishing unregistered villages in reserved and protected forest in Manipur.
The BJYM also reacted sharply to the post which went viral on social media and asked all perpetrators to clarify at the earliest.
