One N Imo of Chanam Pukhri Mapal went to refuel his Bolero jeep at a nearby oil pump this morning.
When he complained to the pump-man that their pump was charging extra money, the pump-man told him that the price of petrol has been cut down while the price of diesel has been hiked.
Maintaining that they were charging the prices fixed by the IOC, Imo was told to collect the 'additional money' (he paid) from The Sangai Express.
Whereas the particular oil pump was attempting to falsify the news report published on July 1 issue under the heading "Petrol price cut by 89 paisa per litre, diesel cheaper by 49 paisa per litre", Imo personally asked The Sangai Express to publish only authenticated news reports.
