Imphal, February 11: Reacting strongly to the statement issued by Pibarel Mangang a few days back, the Central Committee of the KCP today said that the statement was nothing but full of lies and deceit.

Announcing the antecedents of Ksh Noyon, general secretary of another group of the KCP, the Central Committee in a statement said that this man was responsible for giving shelter to Manglemjao, who was responsible for siphoning of Rs 18 lakhs from the Manipur Spinning Mills.

To help Manglemjao repay the money, Noyon appointed him as the finance secretary of KCP under the name of Keirunghanbi and extorted large sum of money from the public.

On the accusation that MK Mangang alias Nando was involved in the killing of Lungnila Elizabeth, the statement said that whatever Nando did was his personal affair and had nothing to do with the outfit.

However Pomila of Nongjum, Kumar of Langol and Sanayaima of Tentha are all committed cadres of the KCP waiting for the day when everything will be set right.

They were misled by some people, it added.

KCP will not oppose any punishment meted out to anyone involved in the killing of Elizabeth, the statement maintained.

Training its guns on Noyon, who was purportedly appointed the president-in-charge of KCP after �expelling KK Mangang,� the outfit scoffed at the leadership quality of Noyon and maintained that he is not even fit to be the general secretary of the outfit.

Exalting him to such a position is nothing but a ploy to hamper the smooth progress of the revolutionary movements, said KCP.

On why home secretary Lamphel did not return to Sajik Tampak, the statement said that the home secretary deemed it better not to go back there as associating with Noyon was sure to tarnish the image of the outfit.

Noyon was involved in forcibly taking the goods and food of the villagers which did nothing except besmirch the image of the party, it charged.

The statement further said that KCP fully respects the stand of Francis Ngajokpa and said that his decision to forgive the killers of his daughter is a rare quality not found in lesser mortals.
