SKY Hospital conducts medical camp at Noney

Showing solidarity and sympathy to victims of devastating earthquake which jolted the State on Jan 4, SKY Hospital and Research Centre in association with Manipur Heart Foundation today conducted a free medical camp at a relief camp set up at Noney, Tamenglong district.
Altogether, 116 villagers of Noney Part-I and surrounding areas received the benefits of the medical camp which was conducted by a physician, a surgeon, two staff nurses and two medical attendants of SKY hospital.
The medical camp was conducted as part of the hospital's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme, stated its Managing Director Shymuel Lairikyengbam.

"After the earthquake devastated many areas of Noney on Jan 4, the hospital conducted the camp to provide some form of relief and help to villagers," he added.
The hospital is contributing its part in order to make a difference although little, he said.
Further, he said that the hospital has plans to visit villages affected by the earthquake in Senapati district in the coming days.
Meanwhile, chairman of Longmai Village Authority, Meiduan Gangmei expressed gratitude to the hospital for conducting such medical camp when villagers need the most.
The medical team of SKY hospital is the second team to have conducted such camps in Noney Part-I area.
Earlier a private hospital had conducted similar medical camp.
As part of the medical camp, the MD of SKY Hospital also distributed various food materials including seven bags of rice, two bags of pulses, salt and drinking water to the affected villagers.
