Mobile Computer Centre inaugurated

A Mobile Computer Centre was today inaugurated by National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) Imphal Centre in collaboration with Ragailong Youth Club (RYC) at Ragailong, Imphal East.
The Mobile Computer Centre would offer six months courses in Diploma in computer application, network administration, soft skill and two months certificate course in computer concept.
The inaugural function was attended by Minlianthang Vaiphei, Director, TA and Hills and Th Premeshwor Singh, Director, NIELET, Imphal as the chief guest and guest of honour respectively.
Chief guest Minlianthang said that use of e-governance is on the rise in the country and to acquaint onself with various applications of computer is a must.
He further conveyed his hope that the courses would be constructive for both young and old alike.

Th Premeshwor, Director, NIELIT, Imphal elaborated on the priviledges offered by NIELIT and the importance of digital literacy in today's advancing society.
He further expressed his desire to organise an awareness programme on cyber crime in the locality particularly for youngsters.
President of the function Ragailong Khullakpa David Kamei exuded confidence that the courses would yield positive impact to the students.
